Why I Love My Dog

I have a chocolate cockapoo named Charlie. She is a princess and somethings annoys me. However overall I think she a really good dog.
She is an older dog but still keeps up the pace with are busy family. In result it gives me more reasons to appresate her. Here are some things I love about my dog.

1. The Snuggles

Charlie is a total lover of snuggles. She practically lives on it.  Charlie also love babies; whenever she is around them she sniffs them and will even lay down and take a nap. If you are sick she will know and will cuddle up to you and won't even worry about the germs. 

2. Protection

When I am home alone, she always seems to be a little more protective. She doesn't always bark but when I was home alone the FedX guy came and she went crazy. Usually she would just be curious but she wasn't that time. One of the thing me and my family was looking forward to having a dog was  the protection and knowing when someone is here so we are all grateful the Charlie has this charismatic. 

3. Hiking and Walks

Me and my family love to camp and hike and Charlie doesn't like to be home alone. One day we decided to take her with one a hike to see how she would react and she loved it. Every since we will bring her to almost all the hikes we go on. I also love taking her on walk just to get away from the world. Not to brag but Charlie is very well behaved and dose great with a leash. She could even go with out one but does get very distracted without one.

4. Barking

Charlie doesn't bark; of course there times when she does but for the most part she is silent. We did get her when she was five years old and this quality was one that my dad was most happy about because when he grew up most dogs he had didn't bark so he was happy about it. She will whine alot, but I guess thats her way of barking. Even if Charlie barks I will love her just as much. I don't even mind it when she does because it is usually because I am alone and someone new is at the door.

5. Her Face

Of course every dog is cute. Especially in its owners eyes. This definitely applies to me. I love the face she makes when wanting food. More so when she just got groomed like a poodle. Charlie has a totally convincing puppy face which she using when wanting something. It makes it really hard to say no to that face.

6. The Belly Rubs

Charlie always loves a good belly rub. She will whine extra if she dosen't get the amount of love she thinks she needs. Belly rubs have always been a thing that she has enjoyed even before we got her. Of course I love giving her rubs. She always gets up happy as can be after a rub with her tail wagging.
